“This historic country house, set within impressive gardens, struck me as particularly well-suited to families and those traveling with dogs. Satisfactory Hotel Stay

spacious room separate seating area delicious breakfast poor soundproofing large mold shower head
The room was spacious and included a separate seating area. The bathroom had excellent features (I liked it!). Breakfast provided a delicious and wide variety of options. Staff members were very friendly.
I experienced very poor soundproofing in my room. I could hear every movement and mumble from the room next door. This unsettled my dog and kept us from relaxing. The shower hose and head had a large amount of mold.

weak shower pressure thin walls
The bathroom felt outdated. The shower pressure was WEAK. The room lighting was dim. The WORST part was the noise from the nearby road, it disrupted my sleep. The walls seemed thin, I could hear conversations from adjacent rooms. This made it hard to relax.

beautiful garden generous room traditional breakfast missing fridge old style unkempt area
The hotel has a very beautiful garden with many chickens. My room was a generous size. The breakfast included many options and tasted very nice.
My room did not have a fridge. The hotel is old style and requires some updates in places. Some outside areas seemed unkempt perhaps because of building work.
